I am a fully qualified, insured, professional Nail Technician and I created 'For Your Nails Only' in 2016.

​

I have always been passionate about nails and, although I have always enjoyed taking care of my own nails, I have been to nail salons - and I have had the unfortunate experience of being an unhappy Nail Salon customer.

​

I have had two disastrous Nail Salon treatments. The first I judged as just bad luck, but after my second, I knew that I would never return to a Nail Salon again.

​

A positive side to my own negative experience is that I had seen the industry

from a client point of view. I knew exactly what doesn't work.

 

​

Everyone has different preferences, but I personally didn't like the ultra quick 'conveyor belt' style salon.

I was unhappy that communication was totally absent other than "Choose a colour".

The impersonal treatments made me uncomfortable and I felt at times that my being there, and any choices I wanted to make, was just a frustration to the Nail Tech.

​

I was horrified that the total disregard for care and attention left my nails in a really terrible state.

​

None of this should be an acceptable industry standard.

I knew what I, as a client, wanted, needed and expected from professional nail services.

I was determined to provide the professionalism and care for clients that I had failed to find for myself.

​

 

This became the creation of For Your Nails Only.....

​

I wanted FYNO to be focused on the client - recognizing that no two people require exactly the same treatment and having the skills required to adapt the chosen service to suit the clients nails perfectly.

 

Looking at the bigger picture and the preparation for the service - professionally advising on the treatments of individual problems that would be problematic, and so providing the client with the best treatment and amazing results.
